And please, don't take matters into your own hands to the point that you'll ruin your warranty. We're not sure how it works (we're not even sure it's a real fix), and we're not telling you to do the same thing. But MXACE got the flashing red light problem - and found a fix. Nobody wants to get the flashing red light on their PS3. As the YouTube video from Blak06 shows, it kinda really sucks to get a PS3 that won't turn on.
